Terms & Conditions

Booking Fee

All bookings require a 50% non-refundable booking fee unless stated otherwise
All booking fees must be paid in full online via the website
All booking fees paid are non-refundable
The remaining balance is to be paid on the day by either bank transfer (preferred), cash or card (fees apply)
If Hair By Candy Campbell cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, your booking fee will be refunded.

Natural hair must be washed and cleaned prior to the booking
Natural hair must be blown out prior to the booking
Natural hair must not have any products on hair (scalp can be lighted oiled)
There is an additional charge of £15 for your natural hair to be blown out during the booking
Unclean hair and scalp will not be serviced
Bookings will be cancelled if hair is unclean
Any bookings cancelled due to hair being unclean will result in 100% cancellation and travel fee
The 100% cancellation fee and travel fee must be paid if the client wishes to rebook
Clients can be rebook a new slot which will be subject to availability and a new booking fee
All rebooking will be require a 50% non-refundable booking fee to secure the slot

Booking Confirmation: All online bookings will receive an email confirmation.
Blowout Service: If you require a blowout (£15 extra), please add a note in the additional information box when booking.
Pets: Kindly ensure all dogs are put away during the appointment.
Student Discount: 10% off with a valid student card (T&Cs apply).
Age Requirements: Minimum booking age is 10 years (exceptions for ages 5-9).
- Ages 5-9 exceptions: Must not be tender-headed and must have had their hair braided before.
Terms & Conditions: All bookings are subject to full T&Cs and are confirmed once the booking fee is paid.

Non-Refundable Booking Fees: Booking fees are non-refundable if you cancel your appointment.
48-Hour Cancellation Rule: Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% cancellation fee (based on the total service price, including the booking fee).
Rescheduling:
- You may reschedule once without a new booking fee.
- Rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours in advance to avoid paying a new booking fee.
- Rescheduled appointments must be within the same month (subject to availability).
Rebooking After Cancellation:
- If you cancel and rebook within 48 hours of the original appointment, a new non-refundable booking fee is required.
- Three consecutive cancellations will require full non-refundable payment for future bookings.
Failure to Pay Cancellation Fees:
- The cancellation fee must be paid before booking future appointments.
- Failure to pay will result in no future bookings with HBCC.
HBCC Cancellations: If HBCC cancels your appointment, your booking fee will be refunded.

10% student discount will be available for all students with a valid student card
The student discount must be applied online at the time of booking to be valid. This will also be stated on the booking email confirmation
Student discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers
Cannot be used with loyalty card rewards, competition, giveaways or any other offer
A valid student card must either be presented on the day, or a copy sent via email prior to the day of the booking for the 10% student discount to apply
A clear photograph of the valid student card should be sent via email
A maximum of 10% student discount will be applied
Minimum age 10 to book a slot with HBCC (exceptions can be made for 5 years olds+)
Age 5 to 9 years old exceptions: Must not be tender headed and must have had hair braided before

Slots are subject to availability.
Booking fees must be paid in full to secure a slot.
All appointments must be booked online via our website.
Email confirmation will be sent for all online bookings.
Standard availability: Monday – Thursday.
Non-working days: Friday & Saturday.
- Appointments on these days are available by request only and subject to a £30 enhanced fee.
Same-day & last-minute bookings (within 24 hours) are subject to a £30 enhanced fee.
Last-minute availability due to cancellations will be announced on social media and bookable online.
Minimum age to book: 10 years old (exceptions for ages 5+).

Service type: Home-based. There is no salon. Appointments are either at my home in Hitchin (full address provided after booking) or within Hitchin I can come to you.
Mobile radius: Mobile visits outside Hitchin are by request only and limited to 15 miles round trip from Hitchin (7.5 miles one-way). An additional travel fee applies; availability isn’t guaranteed.
Beyond 15 miles round trip: Mobile service isn’t available. Please book at my home in Hitchin.
Parking/tolls: Charged in addition if applicable.
