HOW TO OIL YOUR SCALP

· Wash and deep condition your hair

· Do your regular LOC or LCO moisturising method

· Using a rat tail comb or your fingers, part your hair from the front to the back

· Apply the oil along the scalp where you have parted the hair

· Rub the oil into the scalp

· Move onto section by parting the hair again and applying the oil to the scalp then rubbing the oil in

· When parting your hair, start at one side of your head and repeat the parts all over the head to the other side of your head

· Once all the oil has been applied to your scalp, rub the oil into your hair also

· Then give yourself a head massage to stimulate the blood circulation allowing for increased hair growth

1. Can make your hair look greasy if oiled too much as your hair naturally produces its own oil called sebum from the sebaceous gland

2. Too much oil can cause build up so moderate how often you oil your scalp and wash your hair to prevent this – recommend 2 to 3 times per week to maintain healthy hair
